Gold, platinum, forged carbon, precious stones, exotic leathers... Because the choice of materials is an essential link in the long chain of processes in manufacturing an exceptional product, Ciufoli rigorously selects the materials for its jewellery. Each jewel, each embellishment, leather chord or strap is made of a material that has been meticulously selected and constantly re-evaluated to guarantee its performance and its impeccable aesthetics.
Source of Texture
Alligator, stingray, python or ostrich, each type of exotic precious skin is selected and prepared with the upmost care. Rich colour finishes and an array of textures; all skins are premium grade and are tanned, treated and cut with rigorous attention to detail to guarantee beautifully made objects fashioned in a way that respects the natural characteristics of the material.
Ciufoli adheres to a stringent ethical policy in its use of skins. At an international level, it is committed to safeguarding endangered species by strictly observing the terms set out by CITES (Washington Convention) and the REACH regulations.
Source of Shine
Whether it's white, yellow or rose, the gold from a Ciufoli creation possesses a truly captivating radiance, born from years of experience in perfecting the use of this most precious of metals. Only by controlling the whole process can Ciufoli guarantee a peerless, enchanting lustre on its jewels and clasps alike.
Ciufoli exclusively uses 18 ct gold, a princely alloy composed of 750‰ (thousandths) of pure gold, plus exactly the right mixture of elements including silver and copper necessary to produce the different types of 18 ct gold: yellow, white and rose. Guarded formulas ensure exceptional durability, polishability – and an extraordinary sheen that lasts for generations.
Source of Depth
Precious and rare, considered the noblest of metals, platinum is striking for its silvery whiteness and its vibrant luminosity. Over time it has become the ultimate metal of prestige, with the ability to showcase precious stones like no other material.
Ciufoli's uses 950 platinum, an alloy consisting of 950‰ (thousandths) of platinum generally combined with ruthenium. Another member of the platinum family, white rhodium, is also used in electroplating. White rhodium is bound with a specially formulated black ink dye, creating an extraordinarily deep black finish, enhancing the area around dark precious gems such as black diamonds.
Source of Sparkle
Through their unique brilliance and the extreme care taken in their setting, the high-quality precious stones selected by Ciufoli endow each gem-set component with unparalleled prestige.
Source of Innovation
Stronger than steel with the appearance of honed marble, forged carbon is at the forefront of innovation. The technology is an evolution of the traditional woven carbon fiber compounds, with improved fibers, higher fiber volume content, and an improved moulding process; all of which increase the total strength and durability over traditional carbon fiber. With over 500,000 fibers per square inch of forged carbon, it was a technology that was introduced by Lamborghini in their Sesto Elemento model.
Through absolute precision, Ciufoli uses the very same forged carbon to create sleek components that can then be effortlessly paired with precious metals to reveal eye-catching masterpieces.
